Featured image does not publish

pls i’m using twenty-fourteen themes,i don’t know if its support feature image and how does it work,like if i want my header image to be displaying at least 3 images,how would i do that? thank you

Hi @pendcloud: Twenty Fourteen does indeed support featured images. :)
To feature posts with featured images in a slider at the top of your home page, first navigate to the Featured Content panel of the WordPress.com Customizer. From there, enter a name into the Tag name field and save your changes.
Any posts that have the tag you’ve set via that panel will then be displayed in the slider.

In answer to your question: Academica will display featured images alongside posts on your site’s main post page. However, a featured image will not display at the top of an individual post.
