Featured image doesn't show on latest posts

  Hello,

  I have my blog set to display “my latest posts” on the front page, which it does, but not the featured image for the post. It just displays the header. If I click through to the post itself everything is perfect. I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme.
  This should be the simplest thing in the world but it’s driving me absolutely banannas. What am I doing wrong?
