Featured image for background
-
I use the theme Confit, and it says that I can use a page specific background image. I’ve uploaded an image under the page I want (to be different), but it doesn’t show on the blog. What else do I have to do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you follow this guide? http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-backgrounds/
Your blog is private and we Volunteers cannot view it and assist you with it so I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. -
Thanks! The blog is still private, it’s not finished yet.
I’ve done as the guide says, and I have a background picture that’s shown on all the pages. But I’d like a separate picture on one of the pages, to mark a difference. It says here that
“The maximum width for a full-page background is 1600px. To add a global background image that will appear on every page, go to Appearance -> Background. If you want a page to have its own background image, just add a featured image to that page.“
I did that, but it doesn’t show. -
I have to repeat that you must wait for Staff who can view all blogs private or not to help you. Please be patient while waiting.

That’s the issue. The theme designer does not contemplate you having different background images on individual pages in the blog. The background settings here > Appearance > Background apply to every page in the blog.
