featured image for blog post not available

  I’m trying to set a featured image for my blog posts and its just not an option, it looks to be a glitch but I’ve been having this issue for a week now. The area next to my title on my blog is blank.

  Hi,

  What’s the address (URL) of the site you’re referring to, and what them is activated on it? The Feature Images feature is not available on all themes. Even when a theme doesn’t display featured images, the ability to set them remains present.

  I’m having the exact same problem. I reverted to a different theme and continued to have the problem, although it used to be an option yesterday when I started customizing my new site. In the edit view of a post there is no option for featured image under the categories section.
