  what size image for full frame theme featured image for posts and why is the white box behind text

  Hi there,

  Featured Images on the Full Frame theme span the full-width of the browser. If your Featured Images are small or of low resolution, the images might look blurry and of poor quality on the home and archive pages.

  As for the white box, that was built into the theme. So, the only way to remove that would be through the Custom Design upgrade. You would need to edit CSS to remove that. Please note, with this upgrade you can apply custom fonts and colors.
