  I would like to disable the hover effect of the featured images throughout the site. An example can be found at

  It looks like you found the solution as I’m not seeing any hover effect on the images on the page you referenced.

  I’m getting a fade on safari and chrome when mouse moves over the image.

  Ah, didn’t see that the first time I looked. Add this to get rid of the opacity change.

  .featured-image a:hover img {
      opacity: 1;
  }

  thanks. I had to do a restore, back to Friday.

  I am not sure I like Elementor page builder? Any thoughts? Have you used SiteOrigin page builder? What is your experience using them (if you have) and tweaking CSS? I respect your opinion.

  All of the page builders have their pluses and minuses. I’ve not used any of them lately, but I can say from looking at the CSS Elementor generates that it makes my eyes cross when trying to figure out the CSS on your site.

  yea, my eyes don’t cross, they are just blind!

  I requested a refund today. And am either thinking about not having any page builder or trying out SiteOrigin again. It seems more in tune with WP natural editing interface. It’s a front end builder, but maybe that is best. I noticed when I was trying it out earlier, it kept me more in touch with the CSS which I want to keep on learning.
