Featured Image is distorted

  I am using free theme ‘Edin’. On pages that I am setting to ‘default’, I am having trouble with the Featured Image. It is coming out distorted once the page opens. Also, How do I keep from the Page Title showing in the middle of the image?

  Set a Featured Image. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ It will appear as the large header image on the front page. The image will be cropped for small screens to fit the available space, which means not all of the header image will be visible on all screen sizes, so decorative background images may work best. We recommend using an image 1230 pixels wide by 1230 pixels high.

  Is the image distorted there for you? If so can you let me know what platforms it’s distorted on? (Windows / Mac / Phone / Tablet ) ? If you could get a screenshot too and upload it to your media library or to a site like cloudup.com that would be great.
