Featured Image Issue: Illustratr Theme

I’ve recorded a short video of the issue I’m having with featured images using the Illustratr theme and attached it below:

Essentially, my featured image is being turned into a link, which is fine, but when a user mouses over the image, it’s covered with an opaque color, just as a hyperlink would.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I checked the theme’s source code and can confirm that that’s indeed the default behavior of the theme.

I didn’t find any options given by the theme to disable it, so the only available solution is to use custom CSS to “force-remove” the effect (which can be done). You will need the Custom Design upgrade to be able to add the custom CSS.

If you do decide to upgrade, feel free to post a question to the CSS Customization forum and one of us will help you there with the CSS.
