Featured Image module is missing
-
I am trying to add images that will automatically be pulled when our posts are published on various sites. Some are smart enough to pull any image on the page while others look specifically for the “featured image”.
However, we don’t have a “featured image” module as an option when editing a post . . . is it just because our theme doesn’t support it? If so, is there any other way we can designate an image as a featured image? Perhaps by manually applying a tag somehow?
Thanks!

Hi Mark, you’re correct in your hunch that only some themes are designed to use featured images. There isn’t a manual way to add one, since the display of featured images is something that’s handled very specifically by each theme.
You can see all themes that support featured images here:

Just let me know if you need further help.
