Featured Image not appearing in Email Newsletters

  Hi, I recently changed my theme to one that uses featured images. The featured images look great at the top of my posts, but I just published a new post and realized that the notification that goes to my email followers doesn’t include that featured image. Since that featured image basically replaces what I would typically use as the first image of the post, I’d really like my email followers to see that featured image.

  So, the only two solutions I can think of are to either figure out a way to get that featured image into the email or to add that same image to the top of my post but somehow keep it hidden in the posts but appear in the email. Any help is appreciated! I have other tweaks but none as pressing as this one, so I’ll save those for a different ticket :)
