Featured Image Not Displaying in the Sketch Theme

    The featured image is not displaying in the sketch theme. They are uploaded and are visible during editing. When I view post, the featured image is not there.

    I have finally figured it out. It is unnecessarily complicated.

    You cannot do this in the “improved posting experience”. It’s broken.

    You have to go to the dashboard, which you get to by pressing WP admin, hopefully you have figured out how to get there by now (there are way too many menus in this set up.) .

    Click on posts and a list of posts comes up.

    Click the post you want to add a featured image to.

    Click add media. Hopefully your images are in the media gallery.

    Highlight image.

    Click insert into post.

    Click update.

    Then click posts to bring up the list again.
