featured image not going to facebook posting

  I post an article and facebook displays the wrong image. They do not pick up my featured image. Does facebook have certain parameters?

  Same thing here. I copy the url of my blog and paste it on facebook and the picture does not appear. Help!

  Same problem here. It is really annoying for a photography blog to not have a photo to display when I share my blog URL on facebook, looks really amateur… I cant event share the link from my home page, the facebook share button doesn’t appear… Is it because of the theme?

  Hi there,

  Know that we have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  What I posted above is all the advice I can provide for wordpress.COM hosted blogs. However, https://viewfrompvca.wordpress.com/is an empty site so I don’t know which site you are referring to. Post the URL starting with http:// please.
