Featured image not in reader

Hello,
I’ve never had any issues with the featured image (or any photo) not showing in the reader, but the last post I published appears without the featured image in the reader even though I didn’t do anything differently. I re-uploaded the photo (1200x800px as always) twice and updated the post several times, but nothing changed.
I just checked the mobile the mobile reader, it does appear there, however it doesn’t when I use the laptop.
Also, the tags ‘family’ respectively ‘relationships’ (mobile reader) appears in the reader even though I didn’t use them in the post? Is there an explanation for that?
Could someone check what’s wrong? I’ve had several issues that had to be solved by a staff member and am afraid that it’s another one I can’t fix on my end.

Hi there,
It doesn’t look like the problem is with your site’s feed – the Reader is picking that up correctly – so the problem might be with the Jetpack plugin.
Have you updated Jetpack to the latest version? You might want to try re-installing and reconnecting it. After doing that you might need to publish a new post first before the Reader will fetch your site’s feed again, but if that doesn’t help, please contact Jetpack support directly for help, as I can’t find any errors on our end that could be causing this:

I wrote a message to Jetpack’s support, I hope they can solve the problem.

Thanks for contacting Jetpack support. I did some more digging and it appears like it might be related to the recent 4.2 update for that plugin, but Jetpack support should know more about exactly what’s going on there.

Hello!
It’s me again. I was in touch with Jetpack support who sent me over to my host Bluehost to solve the issue.
The guy from Bluehost said he solved all the issues at his end, but it’s still not working so he told me to contact you again.
The problem now is a bit different: In the reader, all the featured images of my blog are gone. Instead is a white square and a little blue question mark in the middle.
Only the second last post called “2000” still appears without a featured image and thus doesn’t have the white square.
Can you help me out this time?

Hi @monikajr, your best bet is to continue with Jetpack support on this. The images aren’t displaying in our reader because their links are broken, like so:

Hi @supernovia, thank you for your reply! At the end I contacted Jetpack again – however, suddenly it worked again. No idea what happened there, but I’m glad it’s gone.
