Featured image not picked up by LinkedIn, Signal, etc.
-
I just published a new post. And for the first time, I have trouble with getting LinkedIn and others (Signal, Mastodon, etc.) to use the featured image. LinkedIn complains the information about the featured image is missing from the <head> section that wordpress created.

Anything I can do about that?

Hi there,
If featured images for your past posts are showing on LinkedIn and only the recent post is having this issue, it might be that the featured image on the recent post does not meet LinkedIn’s image requirements. You can review those requirements here:
https://wordpress.com/support/linkedin-image-thumbnail/#linkedin-image-requirements
Kindly note, if the featured image for the new post meets LinkedIn’s requirements, you can try replacing it with one you used successfully in a previous post, just as a troubleshooting step.
Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I should have put that here too. The image was simply far too large in pixels. I have repaired it since. Thanks for helping out.
