featured image – not showing

I have put individual featured images in my posts, but they sometimes will not “feature”. Instead that post reverts to the Blogsites header image. I have killed the image, reformatted it, downsixed it, reinstalled it, reset it… still won’t appear…

thanks for adding modlook, timethief. Only two of my posts refuse to show their saved header images, all the others are no problem. So it is an odd inconsistency…

Hi @annenorman, the featured image on this post is too small: 850 × 214 instead of the minimum 940 wide by 214 tall.
If it’s too small to fit that space, the theme reverts to the default image. I hope that helps.
