Featured image not showing

  When creating a post if I use a featured image from an image which I have uploaded previously then the post will show when ‘preview’ is selected or when the post is uploaded.

  However, if I upload a new image for the first time and then make it the featured image then the ‘preview’ and uploaded post do not show.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I just checked it and it looks like this WordPress.com site is using Gateway WordPress.com theme. I tried this one of my WordPress.com sites now, and it turns out when you add a featured image to blog post (fresh upload or not), it does not show up on the post page.

  The featured image shows up on the homepage though.

  The theme does not support displaying of the featured image on the post page, out of the box. You can explicitly show the same image on the post page by inserting the same image in the content section though.

  Hi,

  Thanks for the responese, the website is http://www.stylebydillan.com and when I create a blog post if I use a image which I have uploaded previously then it will show.

  However, if I upload a new image and try to set it as the featured image then it will not show.
