Featured image not showing across top of Blog page (ie in Cover Template mode)

    I’ve managed to add a featured image as a Cover Template (ie so it fills the top of each page as the background to the main headline and primary menu) on all my pages except my Blog page. When I try to edit the Blog page, it doesn’t let me into the page as happens with all my other pages; instead, it takes me to a Dashboard page that lists the elements on the page. This shows my Featured Image is apparently still ‘on’ the page, but there is no option for me to tick/click to so that shows up on the Blog page itself. Do you know where I’m going wrong?
