Featured image not showing up

  Hi, I’ve added a featured image to each of my blog posts, but when I hit ‘publish’ it isn’t showing up. It’s super frustrating. How do I get it to appear on the page? Thanks in advance!

  From what I see your WordPress.com site https://lavaniraj.wordpress.com/ is using theme Twenty Eleven https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyeleven/

  Based on the information mentioned on that page, the Featured Image for each should be at least (1000px x 288px) in dimensions and this support reply from a WordPress.com staff confirms the same: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cant-set-featured-image-twenty-eleven-theme?replies=6#post-2821041
