Featured image not showing up in thumbnails of my posts

  Hello, I am new to blogging. My problem is that even after setting up featured images in my posts, the images are not showing up in the thumbnails of the home page. Only a blank thumbnail with the post title shows up but no image. However, upon opening up the image shows normally. Please help. I am using the revealer theme.

  Hi

  From what I see your WordPress.com site is using theme Revelar:
  https://wordpress.com/theme/revelar

  Based on the information mentioned on that page, the Featured Image for each should be at least 1200px wide to each post.

  Please try to upload an Image with the size mentioned above and try again
