Featured image not shown in gallery posts.

  Hi all,

  I tried to use the gallery post format in my photoblog. I’m using anthem, and its slider gallery looks great for some posts. I know I can use the option slider+”true” con convert any gallery to this special anthem themed one.

  But the issue comes if instead of editing post by post, I just choose the gallery post format. In that case, The featured image doesn’t show.

  Can I get this featured image visible again for gallery posts in anthem via CSS modifications?

  CSS can change the appearance for things that already exist on a page. If the page isn’t already setup to include some content (like a featured image), dynamic content like that cannot be added using CSS only.

  If you can use a nice gallery and get the featured image to work the way you want without using the gallery post format, why not do that?

  Yes, at the end it is what I’m doing. Featured images are correctly setup, and not using the gallery post format works as I want. Thanks designsimply.
