Featured Image not thumbnail?

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help me figure this out.
I have a featured image set for every post on my WordPress site. One those posts are also at least one other image to show the steps we’ve taken to get to the end results.When I try to share these posts on Facebook for example, it is using the other images in the post for the thumbnail and NOT the featured image, which is what I want shown. I’ve been looking at various websites / forums for help regarding issues with thumbnails/featured images, but nothing quite touches on the specific problem I am having.
A few years ago, you could share a post on Facebook and choose which thumbnail you wanted to display (if the page had multiple images), but now it doesn’t seem to allow for that either.

This guide here quite touches on the issue you are experiencing: https://wordpress.com/support/facebook-image-thumbnail/. Take note to make sure you have the right image sizes for your post as that sometimes forces Facebook to use images in your gallery instead of the correct featured image.
You might need to force Facebook to use the correct image as files sometimes get chaced on their end and you have to force clearance of the cached files. You can use this tool to debug: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug. It doesn’t always work right away therefore you may need to do a lot of scrapping (you will see a button that says Scrap Again).

The support page @therefoiam shared above will contain some info that can help you, but as you’re on the Business Plan and using your own SEO plugin that overrides WordPress.com’s built-in SEO settings, including the Open Graph tags that Facebook uses to know which image to use, much of the info on that page doesn’t apply to your site.
Please contact live chat support at https://wordpress.com/help/contact so our team can take a closer look at this for you, but if the OG tags for your site are being generated by your All-In-One-SEO plugin, rather than by us, you’ll most likely need to contact support for that plugin directly for help with this.
