Featured image not updating

  I changed the Featured image from a face to a cover shot the day before yesterday. It has not updated. I’ve tried resetting several times (and of course “Update” post) but nothing seems to work. Can you help? Thanks a lot!

  Hi there!

  I just took a look at your site. It seems that the Featured Image has updated successfully to the cover shot you mention. I pulled your blog up in the Reader and the image of the book appears instead of an image of a person:

  Are you still seeing the old image appear somewhere?

  Yes, sorry I should have stated – the problem is not in the main image in the body of the post, but when the post appears in the “Top posts & Pages” widget in the sidebar, even though I set that image as the featured image.

  Hi there!

  I just did some testing around this. The Featured Image will be updated in the Top Posts and Pages widget if the image is big enough. It looks like the image you’ve selected for that post is 180 × 274 pixels. I think the minimum size the image can be is 200 x 200 pixels.

  Can you try uploading a bigger version of that image?
