Featured Image Not Working, Even When Pics Resized

  I am trying to upload a featured image to the “home” page of my website. I’ve read about the recent problems with this, and have tried resizing my pictures in every possible way – 960×260, as recommended for the Chateau theme I’m using, and when that didn’t work, I’ve tried bigger and smaller, with no luck. What am I doing wrong?

  You can’t upload a Featured Image to your blog as a whole; you can only upload a Featured Image to a post. Are you not talking about a Custom Header instead? WHOLE different story.

  Thank you. I was trying to have no header on the home page, but then put featured images as headers on the other pages – didn’t realize you can’t do that. I’ve figured it out – just leaving all headers off.
