Featured Image not working for PAGES, only POSTS

  My theme, Scrawl, supports featured images, which works very nicely for blog posts, however it does not seem to be working at all for pages, although the facility is there and accepting a featured image in the page editor. I checked the theme documentation, it does not specify that featured image can be used for posts only. Anyone any idea what is going on?

  Themes use featured images in different ways. In Scrawl, featured image for pages aren’t displayed on the front end (public side) of the site, but when you share a page on social media like Facebook, its featured image will normally be the one picked up if it meets the social media service’s minimum size, which on Facebook is at least 200px square.
