Hi @aprajitaverma!
The image at the top of the Toujours Demo is a Post Slider. To set that up start in My Site > Customize > Featured Content.
In this section you can set a Tag that will be used to put posts into that slider. If you aren’t sure what to use, just put featured in that spot. Remember what you’ve used here.
Next, write a blog post (My Site > Blog Posts > Add).
Give the post a Featured Image (that is what you’ll see on the slider)
Under Categories and Tags, add the tag you used in the Featured Content section of the Customizer. Now when you publish your post, the theme will know you want to see it in the slider. Publishing more posts under the tag you’ve chosen will add them to the rotation :)
There’s more info about setting up Toujours on the info page, here: https://wordpress.com/themes/toujours/

re: like button use
Just like any other place with a like button, for example, Facebook, one has to register a username account and be logged in to be able to use it. All that’s required to register a WordPress.COM account is a valid email address. https://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/
