featured image on cubic theme

    Hi guys,
    Just wondering if anyone knows how I can get a featured image to appear differently on the post and the homepage? Or give a different image for the homepage?

    I am using the cubic theme, and at the top of the post page the image is rectangular, but on the homepage it displays as a square, meaning rectangular images get cut off/ or shrunk to fit, leaving ugly black space around the image. I would either like to be able to use a rectangular version of the image for the page and then upload a square version of it for the homepage, or get it to just optimise better! specifically the post I’m having problems with is https://girlaboutsurrey.wordpress.com/2017/10/15/290/

    Hi emilykateevans

    As WordPress maintains the image aspect ratio. So the images are resized proportionally.
    Try changing the Settings-> Media thumbnail images sizes. And see if that works for you.
