Featured Image on Facebook Posts

Looks like Facebook is no longer adding featured images to timeline posts – any suggestions?

Hi there,
We’ve had some other reports of this recently and our team is looking into it. We’re sending the image to Facebook, but Facebook isn’t always displaying it for some reason. We’re trying to figure out why that’s happening.
One thing you can do, if your post isn’t publicized with the right image, is to put the link through Facebook’s debugger here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
That should force Facebook to grab the image we’re sending them, so if you publish the post again to your timeline it should show the right image. (Facebook needs pretty big images to show them in your timeline. If you run the debugger and it doesn’t show your featured image, that means you may need to pick a bigger image to use as your featured image for the post.)

We made several updates to resolve this issue. If you still encounter issues with newly published posts shared on Facebook, let us know including the link of the post you shared.
Note that you can also use the Facebook Debugger to update FB’s cache so it uses the correct image and description of your site: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
