Featured image on page not working
-
My website is http://www.mgbchoralmusic.com
I’m trying to set a featured image for pages……not the main header. I created a page, added a photo, created a link to the page. All of this works fine. When I try to add a ‘featured image to the page it appears to work but does not appear when I view my actual site. The page appears but it still has the original main header of the site. I also get a ‘NaN’ appear when I try to scale the image when trying to edit it for the featured image. One help site I found told me to got to appearances—Customize—–header—-enable feature header image. I don’t have the ‘enable feature header image’ option in this location (or any other I can find). I’m using Twenty Eleven theme. The page I’ve tried to do this on as a test is under LGBT……click on “Gay Village Whiplash” image that links to it’s own page…….I tried to add the MGBchoralMusic logo as a featured image.
Thanks

In order to enable the ‘Featured Image’ option you would need to set the page to ‘sticky’. In the ‘Customizer’ navigate to the page you want to feature. Click on ‘Post Settings’ and move the slider next to ‘Stick to the Front Page’. Hope this helps.
