Featured image on site pages.

Hello. I am making a website and when I’m done I will pay for the premium plan. Now, I am struggling on removing the featured image from every page on my site (biography, qualifications, awards, contact etc.). It does not show the featured image in the editor, but when you actually click the page it is above my header, text & title. Please explain to me how I remove it.

  • Hi there,

It sounds like the featured image that is appearing on all of your pages is part of your Pages template. You can remove or change it through the Site Editor.

To access the Site Editor, go to Appearance > Editor > Templates. From the Templates list, select the Pages template. This is the template that controls the layout of your individual pages. Select the image, and then you’ll be able to either remove it or replace it with a different one.

If you notice that the featured image is appearing in other places on your site and you’d like to change or remove it there as well, you can follow similar steps to edit the relevant templates (e.g., Posts, Archive, etc.).

For more in-depth information about the Site Editor and how to use it, you might find this guide helpful: https://wordpress.com/support/site-editor/

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
