Featured image on the Home page

  Hi!

  I am using the “Blissful” theme, which has a Full-Width Featured Content Slider option, but i dont know how to add a featured image/slider to my Home page. I managed to add an image to all the other pages i created, but not on the custom Home page.. I’d like my visitors to see the featured images the moment they enter my site. Could you please help me with some info?

  I learnt how to add the content slider, but i would prefer if there wasn’t any text written under the featured images.. Is there a way to remove the text?
  Also, if I just want to add a picture instead of a slider, would that be possible?
