Featured Image on Welcome Page

  I have uploaded a feature image for my homepage but it won’t show up when I publish/update the site. It stays completely gray with only my tagline line showing…
  I was wondering if I was working the widget wrong? Or if there is a setting I need to change on my computer?

  Is that the image you want to use as the featured image for your front page?
