Featured image overriding header

  Hi,

  I have a different image set for the header on this website, but it is only visible if I remove the featured image. I read through a couple of forums and people kept suggesting to decrease the size of the featured image. I now have the featured image at 448 x 336px and it’s still overriding the header.

  A lot of suggestions mention changing the function.php but I have no idea what this means/how to access it…I only know how to edit using the front end and some basics of the html.

  Can anyone help?
