Featured Image parallax scrolling CUBIC THEME

  Hello can anyone help me with my FEATURED IMAGE at the top of each blog post in CUBIC THEME?

  Is it possible to float/scroll text in the middle of the featured image and make them move. I think it’s called parallax

  exactly like this http://www.simpletapestry.com/wedding-photography-blog/2016/4/19/digital-love-crumlin-road-gaol-wedding I LOVE THIS!!

  P.S i’m not that clued up with CSS so please dumb it down. Regards Darren

  The parallax effect is done with Javascript, and we cannot add Javascript here at WordPress.com for security reasons.

  It’s not that it can’t be done, but that it requires that you structure the HTML in a certain way so that you can use 3D transforms. We can’t edit the theme files here at WordPress.com, so we can’t structure the HTML to be able to do this. It may be that there are some themes here that have a structure that might work, but it would be a lot of work to go through all of them and study the HTML to see if there are any.

  Here is probably one of the better articles on doing CSS only parallax effects, but again, they structured the HTML in such a way from the start that it would work.
