Featured Image question
-
When setting the featured image in my post, the preview shows that image in the header. But, when published it does not show, and reverts to the header image selected. Am I doing something wrong? I am using the Pilcrow theme.

That’s sounds very odd to me because the header imnage uplaoder and the image uploaders are two different uploaders. The only way an image can appear in your header is if you are uplaoding it here Apperance > Themes > Header
You can upload a custom header image to be shown at the top of your site instead of the default one. On the next screen you will be able to crop the image. Images of exactly 770 × 200 pixels will be used as-is.

@TT: “The only way an image can appear in your header is if you are uplaoding it here Apperance > Themes > Header”
No: in Coraline, Pilcrow, Twenty Ten and Vostok a featured image replaces the regular header image when you view a single post or page.@quiltingties: You shouldn’t expect us to check all your posts. Which post or posts are you talking about?

I guess I misunderstood how the featured image works in Pilcrow. When I viewed the single post it was visible.
Thank you for your time.
