Featured Image & Reusable Blocks Disappeared

    Hello,

    I hope you’re well. I blog at InvisiblyMe – https://invisiblyme.com/. I’m self-hosting with a self-bought third party theme. I’ve had a lot of problems this year with host providers so I don’t know if the problem lies there, or with a WP update.

    When going into a post – new or pre-existing draft – two things are missing. If you go to add a new block, the section for ‘reusable blocks’ is not there. At all. If you type ‘reusable’ or the name for any of the reusable blocks I had before, nothing shows up. It’s just totally disappeared.

    The second thing is the featured image, which isn’t on the right-hand side bar at all either. I can’t upload photos here otherwise I’d add screenshots to show you what I mean, so I hope this makes sense.

    I’ve used a Health check plugin and with everything disabled and a default theme activated, those two things appear sometimes. Ie. The first time I tried on debugging mode, they weren’t there. I went back in again to the post and they were. I’ve tried disabling and reactivating plug ins with no joy. I can’t figure it out. Everything was working fine until maybe the last two weeks. I can’t do much without these things and I can’t find any solutions online given as that I can’t find any problematic plugin..

    I don’t suppose anyone has any ideas? I feel like giving up blogging altogether now with the problems with host providers, losing a lot of money along the way with them this year, ongoing problems related to that, and now problems with WP.
