Featured Image Showing as Cropped the Wrong Size in Bard Theme

    I use the Bard theme from WP Royal and since last week, featured images on new posts (any images I’ve uploaded since 13 Nov) are showing cropped, zoomed in and the wrong size/dimensions. I’m uploading in the same size & format as I always have and older images uploaded before then are fine. I tested other themes and they show up fine there so seems to be a Bard issue. I’ve contacted WP Royal but they haven’t been very helpful so far and I’ve been going round in circles with them all week. I have very little understanding of CSS to try fix it myself, so can anyone suggest a fix and explain it as simply as possible??
