Featured image showing up in posts
-
Hello, I have an issue with featured images showing up massively on top of the blog posts after clicking the permalink. Example here: https://atrocither.wordpress.com/2023/01/20/the-human-condition-by-hannah-arendt/
This wasn’t the case beforehand; how can I fix this without having to get rid of the featured image altogether (it’s good to have them on the home page but not on the actual page itself). Thanks!

Hi there! The theme you have right now (Twenty Twenty-Three) includes the featured images by default on individual blog post pages. If you’d want to remove the featured images from the individual post view, then you’d be doing that using the Site Editor:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-editor/Essentially, you’d be heading to Appearance > Editor (beta) and then choosing the ‘Single’ post template to edit it. From there you’ll get the placeholder layout of how blog posts appear; the Post Featured Image block would be at the top of the template. You can remove it as you’d remove any other block and save the changes; this will stop the featured image from appearing on any individual blog posts (though they’ll stay on your home page, unless you edit the home page template).
Useful guides aside from the above:
