Featured image shows up on desktop but NOT mobile!

    Hi. I have been inserting featured images to my posts. They show up great on a desktop browser, but they do NOT show up at all on mobile. Is this a WP fault?

    Howdy –

    Thanks for writing to us. I’ve looked at the site in both a desktop and a mobile view to get a better understanding of what you’re reporting to us.

    The themes are optimized for mobile readability and performance by default. This often means that they will look slightly different between those two views. What looks nice on a desktop view is not the same for a small mobile view. I don’t see anything wrong or broken from my side of things. Would you be able to send a screen shot of what you see on mobile? I just want to be certain I’m seeing the same as you.

    With that said, your site is the using twenty eleven theme. While this theme is not yet retired, they do eventually get to that point. We aren’t able to keep every theme updated with each browser update forever. Take a look at your options on https://wordpress.com/themes/ Upgrading to the premium hosting plan would allow you to try and use any of the paid options from there as well. This plan is $8/month and it would improve your seo, branding, and reach with a custom domain.
