featured image size

I set a featured image, but I don’t like how it looks. I added a caption, but it doesn’t display in preview, and I’d like the image to be somewhat smaller, with the caption and description visible. Why is the featured image replacing the web site’s banner image? I don’t want that either! What are my options?

Hi @deboutland, for this can I recommend just adding the image to the article instead, using an image block? You’ll get a lot more control and will be able to show the caption and what not.

That’s a function of the theme you’ve chosen. If you’re willing, you might just try another theme that doesn’t do that. This one may be a good choice, since it also allows you to hide featured images on individual posts altogether if you prefer:
