Featured Image Size Help

  • Unknown's avatar

I am having trouble with the featured images for posts. Though I select medium size (200 x 300) for all the photos, some of the featured images appear as thumbnails while others are the medium size. Once you click on a post all the pictures are the same size. I’ve used the same camera to shoot all of these pictures so I’m not sure what the discrepancy is. Does anyone know how I can avoid these thumbnail size images as the posts’ featured images?

(I’m using the Forever theme is that is of any help.)

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question wearing the Forever theme. Yes the theme is of import as each theme specifies dimiemsions for featured images that must be respected or they will not display.

Sorry for the duplicate. I didn’t know that was frowned upon.

Duplicates are frowned upon because they make us run in circles and have to reply to two threads instead of one. Why exactly did you think it was useful to re-post your question after three minutes?

Again I’m sorry for the duplicate. I reposted my question because I found the forum categories unclear. That is, I wasn’t sure if my question was better suited for the “Themes” or “Questions” forum. I’ve posted on other Internet forums in the past and not had my questions answered because I was on the wrong board. I was simply trying to prevent that from happening again. I’m new to WordPress and had no idea how thoroughly the forums are monitored and, therefore, how promptly my query would be addressed. I see now my fear of not having my question answered because I posted it on the wrong place was unwarranted, but as a newby I had no way of knowing that at the time.

No need to apologize: you’re a new member, so the suggestion to avoid re-posting a question is something you should keep in mind for the future. As you saw, members who are able to answer your question will see it no matter what forum you post it in. And if necessary, moderators will move a thread to the right forum.
