Featured image size on Pictorico theme
-
I would like to crop the featured image size the way I’d like and am wondering why a recommended size for the display of featured images does not exist. It says 1180 width, but no height so I have no way of cropping it appropriately without getting something cut off. Thanks for the help in advance.

We bloggers cannot edit templates or themes. All blogs wearing the same theme are using the same underlying templates.

the way the Pictorico theme is set up, so long as the image width is 1180px or more, the height will adjust itself, so the whole photo should show.
If you want the featured images to be narrower, TT is (of course) right that you can’t edit the theme directly, but with the CSS upgrade, you can make adjustments to things like image and page width. If you would tell me exactly what you **wish** it looked like I’ll do my best to tell you how close you can get to your desire with CSS.

Thanks for the assist. I don’t believe blakew523 has a custom design upgrade on the blog.@blakew523
