Featured Image Slider

I’m currently using Oxygent theme and I love the setup especially the Slider one. I followed the instructions on how to make like this. I cropped my pics according to its required pixels and set the page as Showcase page but nothing happens when I publish the blog.
I does sometimes but when I add another page and set as showcase, it wont add to the slider.
By the way, I also used Sticky but the same thing.Pls help, I’ve been working on this for how many days.

The slider on Oxygen gets cached on our servers, and there’s a bit of a delay in it updating due to how Oxygen pulls in the posts. The posts should appear on their own over time, or you can use the workaround described here for more immediate results:
