Featured image supports video so why mine is not working?

  I am using the Cubic theme, and I´d like to use videos sometimes as featured image, it gives me the option but at the home page the video doesn´t appears (shows a colored block instead).
  What´s wrong?

  Hi there,

  Cubic will only show featured images on the blog and archive pages, not videos, afaik.

  Have you seen something different in the theme demo or on a different site?

  When a post is set to use the video post format, Cubic will display videos at the top of single posts above the post title.

  If you don’t want an empty coloured block to appear on the blog page, you’d need to add a featured image to that post, even if it’s using the video post format.
