Featured Image Text Overlay (Twenty Seventeen)

  Hi all – I am trying to add text overlay on the featured image (theme – twenty seventeen) but I am not successful. I tried several things after researching over the internet. I am new to the WordPress. Please help me out.

  Hi,

  The site https://vikssai.wordpress.com/ has the Revelar theme applied. Are you referring to that site or another?

  Adding an overlay to a featured image on a theme that doesn’t display overlays by design would most likely require CSS Customization. You might get a faster response regarding code that will do the trick if you were to submit a request to the CSS Customization forum

  yes..I realized the inconsistency in the website name after I posted and saw no way to edit my question. Anyway, I am trying to edit http://www.vivekjkumar.com and it has overlay pictures for every page. Thank you for suggesting about CSS forum.
