Featured image with content box overlay-Sela Theme

    I am currently setting up my website using the Sela theme. I have already created the Static Front Page, however, in the demo, the front page has a large featured image with the text in a context box overlaid. How do I create that? I have tried uploading several images, and adjusting their widths, but even when an image was wide enough the text did not appear in a box, it was under the image like a typical post. I have no experience in web design or code, so this might be something extremely basic! But I can’t figure it out.
