Featured Image within Email Notification

Hi – I already worked with support and learned that the featured image is intentionally excluded from subscriber emails. I just wanted to ask why that is the case? I found a workaround, here,

Hi there,
Featuread images don’t form part of a post’s HTML content, which is what we use to generate the email content.
Featured images are instead part of the post’s metadata, so additional data that’s attached to the post in the database, and that can be requested and displayed by the theme or used by plugins.
So including the featured image in the emails is certainly possible from a technical perspective, but that would add complexity to the process that creates the email content on our end, which means more ways the emails can break if something goes wrong :)

As a software engineer I can sympathize with avoiding complexity :)
As a “greedy” :) user I would love less thinking/clicking before publishing each posts… featured images are a nice companion to the text that arrives via email.
Is there a place I can enter/vote on this feature? (not essential just nice to have)
Otherwise – my experience using wordpress for the past few months is incredible – thank you to you and all team members that make it possible.
