Featured image won't appear in Splendio Post Slider

  I am having trouble getting an image in the corresponding blog post to appear in the Splendio Post Slider.

  In the sample Splendio theme page, there is a plate of fruit that appears in the slider. I am unable to get anything to appear in that spot on my own blog.

  If anyone is able to help, I would greatly appreciate it.

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/splendio/ is a good resource.

  Have you set the image as the featured image, at least 180 pixels wide, and are the posts themselves marked sticky?
