Featured image won't display on home page

  Hi, I’m getting problems with featured images not displaying on my home page. I’ve set the featured image, saved changes and hit the update button, yet nothing appears where it should. My theme options (I’m using Structure) are set to display the most recent post (the image I wish to use) but I’m still getting nothing.
  Ironically, some pics show fine, while others do not :/
  This is really frustrating, so any help would be much appreciated!
