Featured image won't update in Twitter preview

    I changed my feature image, deleted the first image from my wordpress media and my computer. I then uploaded another image and set that one as my featured image. However, when I link the post on Twitter it keeps showing the old image in the preview and not the new one.

    I’ve cleared my browser’s cache, re-named the image and uploaded it again.

    Nothing has worked. Please help.

    Hi there,

    Your hunch that it’s the cache is good. You’re just looking at the wrong cache:

    Twitter caches the image on their end the first time you share a link, and next time the same link is tweeted they get the image from their cache, not your site, so they don’t know it’s been updated on your site.

    You can flush Twitter’s cache for your post by revalidating the URL using their tool here:
