Featured Image Works Here, Not There
-
I’ve got a unique featured image assigned to every single page on my site, however, on several pages, the assigned image is replaced by the default header image. I’ve double, triple, and quadruple-checked all of these pages, to ensure that they’ve all got their own unique featured images set, but several of them refuse to display the featured image, and display the site’s default header image instead.
Any ideas?

A featured image won’t replace the regular header image if its pixel dimensions are smaller than the ones required for header images (see Appearance > Header).

Excellent; thank you! That seems to do the trick. That’s the first time I’ve encountered a website refusing to allow an image that’s too small! LOL.

You’re welcome.
It’s reasonable actually, when it comes to header images: since the header has fixed dimensions, a smaller image would look stupid if inserted as is, or lose quality if blown up to fit.
